The Bulletin of Marine Science sponsors international academic symposia on topical issues in marine science research. These symposia are held every three years in different locations around the world. The 2015 symposium, “Fish at Night”, awas held in Miami, Florida. The 2018 symposium, “Mangroves as Fish Habitat”, was her in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The symposia featured research presentation, networking events, a film festival, and tours of local sites. The conference booklet, distributed at the symposium to attendees, includes daily schedules and presentation abstracts.
